Traditional Poetry meets Hip-Hop Poetry
A Writing Workshop Led by Daniel L. Garner and Bernard Hankin
Tuesday’s 7pm-9pm
Writers will explore and learn from a fusion of the old and the new. This workshop will expand your craft as a writer, storyteller, and poet. Sessions will be creative and interactive. Daniel L. Garner holds a degree in English and Religion and Bernard Hankins is a local spoken word poet and musician. Both are graduates from the University of Virginia.
Workshop Includes:
-word play, vocal skills, performance, visuals, storytelling, perspective, experimentation, trips to local poetry events
